A panel discussion explores the reasons why Dubai is the locus of this century’s competition for the World’s Tallest Building, just as New York and Chicago were the arenas of the 20th century
The tower is designed by Chicago-based Skidmore, Owings and Merrill. It will include residential suites, offices and restaurants as well as four pools, a library and the Armani Hotel, Dubai. Although still under construction, it is already the tallest structure in Europe and the Middle East.This event is cosponsored by The Skyscraper Museum and The New York Academy of Sciences.
